Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

2. What we collect

When you submit the distributor inquiry form we collect the data you provide: full name, company name, email address, phone number, country, product interest, Incoterm and transport preferences, estimated annual volume, and the content of your message, together with the date of submission and the language version of the site you used.

3. Purpose and legal basis

• Responding to B2B distribution inquiries and taking steps prior to entering into a contract - Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Our legitimate interest in developing international distribution partnerships and protecting the site against abuse (rate limiting, CAPTCHA, spam filtering) - Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Analytics cookies are used only with your consent - Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (see section 8).

4. Retention

Inquiry data is retained for 24 months after our last contact with you and is then deleted, unless a commercial relationship has been established, in which case data is kept for the duration of that relationship and any statutory retention periods.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with:

• Cloudflare, Inc. - website hosting, form processing, and secure storage of inquiries (Cloudflare Pages, Workers, and D1).
• Google LLC - website analytics (Google Analytics), only if you consent to analytics cookies.
• Intuition Machines, Inc. (hCaptcha) - spam and abuse protection on the inquiry form.
• JSC "Vinuri-Ialoveni" (Vinăria Ialoveni), the producer, where necessary to answer your inquiry.

6. International transfers

Our hosting, analytics, and CAPTCHA providers are established in the United States and process data under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. The producer is established in the Republic of Moldova; transfers to the producer are protected by appropriate contractual safeguards.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact privacy@akademos.md.

8. Cookies

This site uses:

• Essential cookies - set by hCaptcha and Cloudflare for security and abuse prevention. These are required for the site to function.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) - set only if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's site data for akademos.md, after which the banner will be shown again.
